" The room looks great! We couldn't be happier. It makes such a difference in how the two rooms look. You can't tell its laminate.

You are the perfect salesman. You answered all our questions and made it very easy for both of us to make our decision on what kind of flooring we wanted for these rooms. We are very pleased with the decision we made.

Please tell the Young man who laid the floor he did a great job. We are so happy with his efforts in laying the floor, he did a great job.

We gave two friends your name; hope they call you soon.

THANK YOU! "

Floating Floors
Laminate Floors that look like...

Even if you don't have three dogs, two kids and lots of parties in your kitchen, you will appreciate the beauty and endurance of laminate floors.

Still wondering what laminates are? It's a sandwich where the middle layer is a picture of the pattern. The top layer is a very hard plastic surface and the bottom depends on the manufacturer. The pieces of flooring "click" together with or without the use of glue, which depends on your final product choice. Yes! We heard! You can click things together like the best of them. Yes! You can install your laminate floor yourself if you would like. Of course our crack installation team are professional clickers and will lay your floor down beautifully usually in one day plus their work is guaranteed.

Give us a room and we'll find you a laminate floor.  What look are you going for? Looks like Wood? Looks like Ceramic tile? Texture? Color? a mix of all of the above? Laminates bring your rooms alive with gorgeous patterns, texture, and colors. An unprecedented versatility is available. Browse our manufacturers links to start exploring what is available.

Floating Floors - Your Answer to the "Uh oh":
If you have done any do-it-yourself project you will know that most corners are not really square, floors are rarely level, and there is always one or two "Uh oh" surprises in the project. It is not much more comforting when "Uh oh" is heard from a paid installer. Laminate planks are the most forgiving of all our hard surface options. Your basement floor may come in waves, the east side of the kitchen may be an inch higher than the west side and yet the floor will be installed and look beautifully without a hitch in the process.

Graphic: nothing's perfect. Considerations of good/bad points of carpet follows.
  • You can have the appearance of wood or ceramic tile at an affordable price
  • It's not really wood, it's a picture of wood and it does make a difference to some people as to look and feel. The look is not as complex and varied, many or all of the boards are identical. The feel... well, nothing feels like wood but the real thing.
  • Can be installed over less than perfect surfaces, no levelling needed, no prep or patch required. Installation cost is often less expensive than wood in such circumstances.
  • Durable. Stain, scratch and waterproof or moisture resistant. Great for mudrooms bathrooms and entryways.
  • Unlike wood, laminate floors can't be refinished or recoated; they have to be replaced.
  • No dye lots. When you need more flooring because you knock a wall out or want expand to the look to the next room the color will match exactly. That cannot be said for any other kind of flooring. You can replace your floor in sections without worry. You can try it out, see if you like it.
  • No grout lines to maintain, a tedious task for ceramic tile floors.
No grout lines to catch on rolling chairs. No underlayment, pad, adhesive or seam sealer required.
  • Speed of installation is incredible. Start your floor this morning - entertain tonight.
  • Great for commercial flooring (grocery stores, bars, retirement homes, day care, etc.) but no polish required like some other commercial lines.
  • On some products there may be an echo when you walk on a glue-less floor. Acoustical padding may be available from the manufacturer. You can get a test piece and see if it makes a difference in sound.
  • Depending on your point of view, having a floor that is not permanent can be a plus or a minus. These floors do have a life expectancy so, maybe it is a negative that unlike real wood you can expect to replace the floor down the line. On the other hand, if you enjoy changing the look of your home once in a while, it is great that the floor is easily removed and changed to another design. Ceramic flooring is very hard to remove. If you decide to use a ceramic looking laminate, it's much easier to remodel.
