My mother is an amazing person. After my sister broke her back in an accident on Christmas morning 2004, she moved back home. My mom had to bathe her, and take her to appointments and be there for her around the clock. She really put her life on hold and never complained. She would do that for anyone. She also watches my two nieces so their parents can work during the day. She drove down to Chicago at a minutes notice to help out with a family emergency. She will drop what she is doing to help a neighbor. So far, she has helped pay for five weddings. Every time she thinks she is getting ahead and can put new flooring in her house, another wedding, or accident, or whatever it may be, and she sacrifices her flooring money...just to help someone. She has had the same floors in that house since it was built (sometime in the 70's) She moves the furniture in the livingroom just to cover holes in the carpet. For someone who does so much for so many people, a new floor would be a great gift back for all the giving she has done over the years.

My Mom is just about the nicest, most giving person I've ever met. Granted everyone has the tendency to be biased about their own mothers, but everyone you ask will agree. We live on a family-owned and operated dairy farm. It's a hard life and shows by the condition of our house. Any money made is reinvested into the farm. Our carpet in our living room is about 20+ years old. It's brown, ugly, dirty and torn in many places. It would mean a lot to get new carpeting. My mother deserves the best because of how unselfish she is and always has been. Besides milking the cows, she works full time, comes home, cooks supper, (and really cooks, not just a pizza in the oven), does housework, and takes care of the rest of the family. When she takes vacation time, it’s usually to help with field work. It would mean the world if you would help me give my mother something she deserves. She’s done nothing but give and we would like to give back for everything she’s done for us. My mother is the most amazing woman and mother I’ve ever known. Please help me reward her.

My mom deserves a new floor because she…

C - cared for and raised five rambunctious girls that put a lot
of wear and tear on the house!
A - always puts other people’s needs/wants before her own.
R - really deserves a fun surprise.
P - provides whatever is needed without expecting anything
      in return.
E - extends a helping hand to anyone in need.
T - treats her family and friends like gold!
S - strives to be a better person everyday.
P - probably has more potted plants covering up carpet
“problem spots” than anyone I know!
L - lives a healthy lifestyle so she can keep up with her nine
     grandchildren.
U - usually knows how to make any situation fun.
S - surely does not expect anything as cool as this for
      Mother’s Day!

My mother deserves a new floor because she had a hard life growing up. Her mother was sometimes uncaring, and could be downright nasty, she had to move almost 15 times in her childhood, and leave all her friends each time she did. My mother made sure to not make those same mistakes with my brother and me. She was and still is always there for us, and getting new linoleum for her outdated kitchen floor, would be a great way to say thanks for providing the life for us that she never had.

My mother is the most courageous, loving and devoted to her family. She was a housewife all her years and was there for us through everything. I lost my husband 2 years ago and she gave me the courage to move on and listenedd when the chips were down. Prior to this, about 3 years ago she lost her right foot, she has since continued that courage and strength to move on. She continues to go up-north, attends the Lincoln Center and show's us that life does go on. My father is her nurse, caregiver and loving companion. They are two peas in the pod. She never gives up, nor did she give up when the odds were against her. She continues to do special things, nice and thoughtful. That's just her way and that's what make's her so wonderful. She has fought many obsticles, some she continues to fight, but that's where her strength shows. She does not give up. She deserves this wonderful opportunity, after all her flooring in the house is about 25+ years old. This would certainly bring a beautiful smile to her face, but through it all she always has that. That's just her way, and that's what makes her so wonderful. Thanks Mom for being you. I love you.
