Retailer of the Year Madison, WI
(August 22, 2000) – Michael Peters of CarpetsPlus
of Wisconsin was named Retailer of the Year by CarpetsPlus
of America. He accepted this honor at the National CarpetsPlus
Convention held in Scottsdale, AZ. in June. Peters,
president and owner of CarpetsPlus of Wisconsin, which
consists of five retail locations throughout Wisconsin,
was selected from over 200 CarpetsPlus of America stores
nationwide.
In addition to managing successful retail operations,
dealers chosen to receive this award have contributed
to the growth and success of the entire organization.
Peters has contributed to the CarpetsPlus of America’s
national group by actively participating in advisory
councils, offering industry expertise and networking
extensively. Since 1970, his family has been involved
in the floor covering industry and he currently owns
and operates retail stores located in Madison, Janesville,
Stevens Point and Wausau.
CarpetsPlus of Wisconsin sells and installs a wide selection
of carpet, tile, wood flooring, vinyl, and area rugs.
